Product Description
NOISY is an AI-powered remote sensor network system that automatically identifies airplane noise, distinguishes it from background noise, and then isolates and tracks each noise event. The NOISY sensor system (uses type 2 microphone, AI-device, cloud-server, dashboard) identifies the start and end of flyover noise events and tracks the level of noise in decibels (dBA). Data can then be viewed online or downloaded.
Each NOISY device continuously monitors noise and tracks airplane noise events. NOISY unfolds even more power in combination with other NOISYs that are installed in the same neighborhood. Each added NOISY provides improvements in accuracy as idiosyncratic aspects of the location where the NOISY is installed (such as reflections from nearby structures or measurement errors) are evened out. This allows multiple NOISYs within a neighborhood to portray an accurate picture of where residents are affected and by how much. Data from multiple NOISY devices can be combined to generate dynamic noise maps in the geographic area where the NOISYs are installed.
